Creating a building envelope extrapolated from the contours of the site was the overarching idea defining the concept for this project. The site overlooking the Queenstown township with 'remarkable' Wakatipu vistas is located at the end of a winding cul-de-sac, 10 mins downhill walk to central Queenstown. The 1015m2 site was a challenging one with a narrow entry via the upper corner of the site and an average gradient of 20 degrees.
